A little about our site...

TheSpecialNeedsCafe website is intended to be a central repository of information, articles, selected links, news feeds, book lists, and FREE newsletter! Our main goal is to help as many people as possible get the help they need for their loved ones!

This website has been modeled after a man who worked tirelessly within the special needs community for almost 30 years. If he didn't have the answer to a particular issue he had a large storehouse of information and contacts to resolve them. When he died in 2005 it left large shoes that needed to be filled and this is our attempt to do just that. (Click HERE for more information about Rick, the man!)

We gratefully accept comments and questions from our readers and answer a great number of them. However, we must admit that we cannot send personal answers to all of them due to the volume we receive.
