Albert F. “Rick” Larsen Jr.

Albert F. “Rick” Larsen, Jr., age 54 of Newton, NH, died Sunday, July 3, at Exeter (NH) Hospital. Born and raised in Bedford, MA, he graduated as Class President of Bedford High School with the Class of 1969. He was also a former resident of Westford, MA and North Andover before moving to Newton in 2002. Mr. Larsen was a senior financial associate with Baystate Financial Services of Boston working out of the Worcester office and was previously associated with New England Financial. He specialized in working with clients with children with special needs and with local non-profit organizations. He was a 2004 recipient of the Downing/Desautels Community service award. He served on the Massachusetts Brain Injury Association Advisory State Board and acted as a family advisor for the Brain Injury Association of Mass. and for families of the Doug Flutie Foundation. He has also been active with the Department of Mental Retardation, Massachusetts Special Olympics, The ARC and Mass Parent Advisory Council. An avid golfer, Mr. Larsen also enjoyed playing softball in his earlier years.
